Years ago, my husband taught me this funny little egg breakfast hack called “Toad in a Hole”. To make a Toad in a Hole, use a shot glass to cut a hole in a buttered piece of bread. Toss the bread onto a hot pan and crack an egg in the hole.
I threw some shredded cheddar and parmesan cheese on top and crisped up the bread. Add a slice of bacon and you have a delicious and light breakfast!
